Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

I have a new wifi and I need to connect my wireless printer to it. I have tried following the directions for connecting and it’s not working. When I print out the report it says I am still connected to my old wifi.

Hi,

Apologies for jumping in, as you use a Mac you would need to use HP Easy Start to reconnect the printer.

 

First, make sure there is no USB cable connected to your printer and that it is ready with a solid power light (press cancel to wake from sleep if it blinks).

 

Restore the network settings by pressing and hold the wireless button for about 20 seconds, as soon as the Attention Light start blinking too release the button and allow the printer to restart.

 

On your Mac click the Wireless icon, ensure that you are connected to your home network, also look for a listed network starting with HP-Setup, if no such is visible repeat the steps above to restore the network settings.

 

Once verified, follow HP Easy Start below, it will provide you with the option to join the printer to your wireless network:
