HP DeskJet 2636 All-in-One Printer

I recently changed my WiFi and am having an issue connecting to my new WiFi. I have tried the option of connecting to the WiFi Direct through my phone in the wireless settings and while it does print, it unfortunately, disconnects from my WiFi. Before, on my other network, I did not have to toggle between the Direct WiFi and my personal WiFi. The printer automatically would print without me having to tell it which WiFi to use. I have tried for days to figure out how to connect my printer to my new WiFi. I have printed out tons of instructions from the printer itself and have tried all of them without any luck. It really shouldn't be this hard!!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's restore the Printer's network settings for the connection issue:

Press and hold the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

Once done, try connecting the Printer to the Wi-fi.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
