What is to do, to connect the printer if the CD is no more available. I only would accept a solution that do not need any addionally firmware update.
I am working with compatible cartridges and do not want that HP would be going to reject such cartridges once I have followed such support.
I made such terrible experience with another HP printer model an I am not willing to repeat such fatal mistake

Hi @solveproblems15,
Thank you for the response
Let's give these steps a try as well:
Put Printer in Wireless Setup Mode
Turn on the printer and press the Wireless button until it starts blinking.
This enables Wi-Fi Direct or WPS Mode, depending on your router.
Connect Using WPS (If Your Router Supports It)
Press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes of enabling Wi-Fi on the printer.
The printer should automatically connect to the network.
Check the Wi-Fi light—it should be solid (not blinking).
Find Printer’s IP Address (After Connection)
Print a Network Configuration Report by holding the Wireless button for a few seconds.
Note the IP Address from the report.
Manually Add the Printer on Windows
Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers → Add a Printer.
Select "Add a Network Printer" and wait for your printer to appear.
If not detected, click "The printer I want isn’t listed", then select "Add a printer using TCP/IP" and enter the IP Address from Step 3.
Download Drivers Without Firmware Update
If Wi-Fi Direct or WPS isn't working, you can install drivers manually without firmware updates:
Go to HP's Official Driver Page:
HP Officejet 6100 Drivers
Download the "Basic Driver" (not the "Full Feature Software").
Install the driver and choose "Wireless Setup" when prompted.
This will connect the printer without forcing firmware updates.
I hope this helps.
