@Tsimmerman1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Connecting Your HP DeskJet 4100 Printer to a New Wireless Network!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To connect your HP DeskJet 4100 printer to a new Wi-Fi network, you can follow these steps:
Power On the Printer:
- Ensure your printer is powered on and in a ready state.
Reset the Printer's Wi-Fi Settings:
- Touch and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer simultaneously until the Power button flashes and the wireless light begins blinking. This resets the printer's network settings.
Connect Using HP Smart App:
- Download HP Smart App: If you don't already have it, download and install the HP Smart app from the HP Smart website or your device’s app store.
- Open the HP Smart App: After installing, open the app, and click on the + sign to add a new printer.
- Follow On-Screen Instructions: The app will guide you through the setup process to connect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network. You will need to know your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
Here is a brief overview of the steps in the HP Smart app:
- Open the HP Smart app and click Add Printer.
- Select the DeskJet 4100 series from the list of available printers.
- Follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Hope this helps!
