I am sorry to hear that your unable to connect your HP printer, such as the HP Smart Tank 5102, to a Wi-Fi network, you can follow these steps using the HP Smart app:

 

Prepare the Printer:

  • Make sure your printer is turned on and in a ready state. If your printer has a touchscreen, open the Wireless menu and choose "Wireless Setup Wizard." Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the Wi-Fi network.

Download the HP Smart App:

  • If you haven't already, download and install the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer. It's available for iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.

Connect Your Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • Open the HP Smart app, and follow the instructions to add your printer to the app.
  • On the app's home screen, click on "Add Printer" or the plus sign (+) to start the printer setup.

Follow the Setup Wizard:

  • The app will guide you through the process to find your Wi-Fi network and enter the network password.
  • If your device is already connected to the Wi-Fi network you want your printer to connect to, the app may allow you to simply share your network credentials with your printer.
