I have changed routers. All devices but the printer have been successfully connected.
The setup does not recognize the pin provided on the machine label and asks for the network security code. I don't know what it is or where to find it. Please advise. Thank you,

Hi @CAM103,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To connect your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-In-One Printer to a new router, follow these steps.
Reset Network Settings on the Printer:
- Turn on your printer.
- From the printer’s control panel, navigate to the setup menu (usually represented by a gear icon).
- Go to "Network Setup" or "Wireless Settings."
- Select "Restore Network Settings" or "Restore Network Defaults" and confirm the reset.
Reconnect the Printer to the Network:
- On the printer’s control panel, go back to the "Network Setup" or "Wireless Settings" menu.
- Select "Wireless Setup Wizard" or "Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)."
- If you choose "Wireless Setup Wizard," follow the on-screen instructions to select your network and enter the network password (this is the same password you use for other devices on your Wi-Fi network).
Using HP Smart App (Alternative Method):
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.
- Open the app and add your printer. If the printer is not detected, click on "Set up a new printer."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Push Button Method:
- If your router supports WPS, press the WPS button on your router.
- Within two minutes, press and hold the Wireless button on your printer for about five seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking.
- The printer should automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network.
If the printer still asks for a PIN or network security code.
- PIN Method: The PIN for WPS can usually be found on the label of your router. It might be labeled as "WPS PIN" or something similar.
- Network Security Code: This is the password for your Wi-Fi network. It is the same password you use to connect your other devices to the Wi-Fi. If you don't know this password, check the label on your router, or you may need to access your router settings via a web browser to find or reset it.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
