My printer has an ip address on my router.  The wireless light is lit on the printer.  But I am not connected to the internet.  I tried to start webservices but I cannot connect the internet.  I get an error message that it cannot connect.  I have removed the devices and uninstalled the printers.  I have gone through the process of uninstalling and reinstalling the latest drivers for the printer...several times.  I have run print doctor and it finds everything is working (drivers, spooler, etc) but will not print the test page.  But it will print the internal print page from the software.  I have gone through the specified sequence of disconnecting the printer, urning off the computer, unplugging the router and reconnecting, starting the computer (all in the sequence indicated from your support information).  Nothing works at fixing the problem.  At one point I got a message that the printer is offline  (I don't know that happened)...how to turn back online.  This is so frustrating...no one to talk with for help.  I am tempted to trash the printer and go to a competitor!!  H. Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did you make any changes to your printer?
  • What's the Wi-Fi light status on the Printer(Blinking or Steady)?
  • Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

While you respond to that, let's prepare your printer for a wireless connection, and restart the printer, computer, and router.

  • Turn the printer off, and then wait 10 seconds.
  • Disconnect the printer power cord from the printer.
  • Turn off the computer or the device you are trying to print from.
  • Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router, and then wait 10 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the router. Wait until Internet service is restored. Internet service is interrupted while the router is off.
  • Turn on the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
