Hi
I have been having terrible internet connection problems and the old extender I had was not up to the job so I bought a new extender that plugs in but it doesn't have wifi. My problem is now that my printer and computer are on different connections and won't talk to each other. There is another space on the new extender for a cable but I can't seem to find a cable that has an ethernet connection at one end and the printer connection at the other- do they exist? Or, is there a way to make them talk without being on the same wifi/ connection? Does all this make sense? I have zero tech know how and this is hurting my brain! Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Sarah

Hi,
The printer supports a USB connection to a computer or a wireless network connection to a router, it does not support a wired network connection and have no Ethernet port.
From your description it seems that you must check or configure your network connection properly to have a single network, this is something more to check with any network tech or somebody who have knowledge on networking, it is not something to do with the printer itself.
Just to get some better idea, what is this "extended" brand and model? to better understand what it is at all.

Hi Shlomi
Thank you for the info. Its a Tp-Link.
I managed to print by pulling the plug out and reconnecting to the old extender... maybe this is what I'll need to do. A bit annoying but not the end of the world. I'm afraid I know nothing about networking and as it's a work computer I'm not sure I should faff with it!!
Thanks
Sarah
