HP DeskJet 4152e All-in-One Printer

How can I connect my new HP 4152e (wireless printer) to my old desktop without wifi.  The internet suggested a USB wifi adapter for the desktop or to tether my cell phone. I've ordered the adapter (2 day wait), but tethering my cell phone did NOTHING.  Am I going about this correctly?  I am not a technical person, so any guidance would be great.  If it matters, I have windows 10.

@KathyK921, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you would like to print from your desktop that does not have a wireless feature.

In this case, kindly use a printer USB cable to connect the devices.

For more info on the setup, follow the steps mentioned in this document - HP printer setup (USB cable)

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Thank you.  But I don't see a place to plug a usb cable into the printer.  Is there one on this HP DeskJet 4152e and I'm missing it?

Kindly look at the back of the printer to find the USB port.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
