Hi @58me,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Since you've switched to fiber broadband, your HP DeskJet printer likely lost its previous Wi-Fi connection. Here's how to reconnect it to your new network:

Step-by-Step: Reconnect HP DeskJet to New Wi-Fi

Option 1: Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode (Recommended)

This resets the printer’s network settings so it can be discovered again.

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Wireless button (🟦 or 📶 symbol) for 5 seconds until the light starts flashing.
    • On some models, press the Wireless + Cancel buttons together.
  3. The printer enters Wi-Fi setup mode (light flashes).
  4. Open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.
  5. Tap “+” to add a printer and follow the on-screen steps to connect to your new Wi-Fi.

Option 2: Use Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

If your router has a WPS button:

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until it flashes.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  3. Wait for the printer’s wireless light to turn solid—this means it's connected.

Option 3: Troubleshoot with HP Smart App

If the printer still isn’t found:

  • Restart your printer, router, and device.
  • Make sure your device is on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Move the printer closer to the router (within 8 meters).

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
