@redheadrealtor, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I believe you have a wireless router with Google fiber. Do you get any errors while trying to connect the printer to the network?
Are you using an Ethernet cable or do you wish to connect wirelessly?
Keep me posted.

I can only connect wirelessly. I had Spectrum with a WPS Router - it worked fine. We switched to Goggle Fiber and the printer will not connect/find it. It asks for a WPS and looks for the router. Google Fiber is mesh, not a traditional router. The printer on has a limited push-button screen. It will not allow me to type in the wifi name and password - I thought it would be that easy, but it does not offer that.
Just bought it last year, should work with any wifi - Google Fiber has been around for a while.
Ready to throw it out the window.
Any help appreciated.

The routers are probably not configured in bridge mode. It likely has a double NAT issue which means multiple routers are handing out IP addresses and causes a conflict. Bridge mode means the router acts as purely an access point and not a router.
Check if this router supports WPS. You will have to check with Google for assistance as this is a mesh network.
Keep me posted.
