I can’t print from my phone anymore. I have shears been able to do it but it’s been awhile and bore I can’t

To start with, could you please let us know the make and model of the HP printer? 

However, you can perform a few troubleshooting steps.

  1. Check Your Connection:

    • Ensure that your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
    • Verify that the Wi-Fi on your printer is enabled and that the printer is connected to the network.
  2. Restart Devices:

    • Restart your printer, phone, and router to refresh the connection and try printing again.
  3. Update Apps and Firmware:

    • Make sure that the printing app on your phone is up to date. If you are using the HP Smart app or HP Roam, check for any updates in the app store (Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android).
    • Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can usually check for updates via the printer’s settings menu or through the HP Smart app.
  4. Reinstall the Printing App:

    • Uninstall and then reinstall the HP Smart app or HP Roam app on your phone. This can sometimes resolve glitches or connection issues.
  5. Check Printer Settings:

    • If you are using the HP Roam app, make sure that notifications, Bluetooth, and location services are enabled on your device for the app.
    • Make sure that the printer is set to allow print jobs from mobile devices.
  6. Test with Another Document:

    • Try printing a different document or file. If specific documents are not printing, there might be an issue with the file format.
