Recently changed Wi-Fi and am trying to connect my printer to the new network. I’ve been through the community page and on the HP website and tried every solution listed but they don’t work. When I go onto the app it won’t pick up my printer because it isn’t connected to Wi-Fi, which is exactly what I’m trying to do. I’ve tried on my computer and phone, but it won’t work my printer is a HP Envy 6032e so it doesn’t have a screen.

Hi @Louise207

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how frustrating this feels—you’ve already tried multiple approaches and the printer still won’t connect to your new Wi‑Fi. Since the HP Envy 6032e doesn’t have a screen, the setup relies on button combinations and the HP App.

Let’s go step by step to re‑establish the connection.

Step 1: Reset Wireless Settings

  1. Make sure the printer is powered on.
  2. Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel (X) button together for about 5 seconds.
  3. The wireless light should start blinking, which means the printer is in setup mode and ready to connect.

Step 2: Connect via HP App

  1. On your phone or computer, open the HP App.
  2. Tap Add Printer.
  3. If the printer doesn’t appear automatically, connect your device to the printer’s Wi‑Fi Direct network (it will look like “HP‑Print‑xx‑Envy 6000 series”).
    • The password is usually printed on a label inside the printer’s cartridge access area.
  4. Once connected, return to the HP App and follow the prompts to add the printer to your new Wi‑Fi network.

Step 3: Confirm Connection

  1. After setup, the wireless light on the printer should turn solid (not blinking).
  2. Try printing a test page from the HP App to confirm the connection.

Step 4: Alternative Setup via WPS (if your router supports it)

  1. On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button until the light blinks.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  3. The printer should connect automatically.

These steps should help bring your HP Envy 6032e back online with your new Wi‑Fi.
