@Voreda-1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer connection!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you’ve switched from BT to EE and need to connect your HP printer to the new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
1. Reset Wi-Fi Settings on the Printer
If your printer was connected to BT, it may still be trying to connect to the old network. Reset the network settings:
- For touchscreen printers: Go to Setup → Network Settings → Restore Network Defaults.
- For button-based printers: Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons together until the power light blinks.
2. Reconnect the Printer to EE Wi-Fi
- On the printer, open the Wireless Setup Wizard (found in Network Settings).
- Select your EE Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password and confirm the connection.
3. Update Printer Connection on Your Computer
- If your computer still recognizes the printer under the old BT connection, remove it:
- Windows: Go to Settings → Devices → Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click Remove Device.
- Mac: Go to System Preferences → Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click the minus (-) button.
- Re-add the printer:
- Click Add a Printer, let it search for available devices, and select your HP printer.
4. Test the Connection
Print a test page to ensure everything is working correctly.
