HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer

Hi! I have a DeskJet 3755 printer and I have used it before for college but recently moved and need to connect it to a new wifi. However, I'm having trouble connecting it to my wifi as it does not show up on my wifi settings. I've tried resetting it already but nothing works. There's orange blinking on some of the icons

Hi @Valeriaacosta,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To connect your HP DeskJet 3755 printer to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps.

Check the Printer Status: The orange blinking lights typically indicate a connectivity issue. Ensure the printer is powered on and ready. If you see a blinking light on the Wi-Fi icon, it means the printer is not connected to any network.

Reset Network Settings: You can reset the printer's network settings:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

Use the HP Smart App: Download the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer. The app will guide you through connecting the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.

  • Open the app and add your printer by selecting "Add Printer."
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi. Ensure your phone or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to connect to.

Wireless Setup: If you prefer to set it up directly from the printer:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button (the button with the Wi-Fi symbol) until the light starts blinking. This puts the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode.
  • On your router, press the WPS button (if available). This allows the printer to automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network.

Manual Network Connection: If the above methods don’t work, you can manually enter the network credentials:

  • On the printer, press the Setup button (wrench icon), navigate to Network Setup, and select Wireless Setup Wizard. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

If you still face issues after these steps, ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly, and check for any firmware updates for your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
