Hi @Sue388,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP LaserJet M110w is not connecting to the new Wi-Fi network after switching servers, and removing and re-adding the printer did not resolve it. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Put the printer back into Wi-Fi setup mode
Turn the printer on, then press and hold the Wireless and Cancel (X) buttons together for 5 seconds.
The wireless light should blink blue, indicating it’s ready to connect to a new network.

Restart the network and Mac in the correct order
Turn off the printer and shut down the Mac.
Power off the router for 1–2 minutes, then turn the router on first, followed by the printer, then the Mac.

Confirm the Wi-Fi network type
Make sure the new network is a standard 2.4 GHz home Wi-Fi network.
The M110w does not support 5 GHz-only networks or enterprise/captive-portal networks.

Use HP Smart to reconnect the printer
Open the HP Smart app on the Mac and choose Add Printer or Set up a new printer.
Allow Bluetooth and Location access when prompted, as they are required for setup.

Move the Mac close to the printer during setup
Keep the Mac within a few feet of the printer while connecting.
Weak Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signal during setup can cause repeated failures.

Check macOS network permissions
Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network.
Make sure HP Smart is allowed to access devices on the local network.

Disable VPN, firewall, or network filters
Turn off any VPN, security software, or DNS filtering temporarily.
These can block the printer from completing Wi-Fi registration.

Verify the printer gets an IP address
After setup, check the printer’s wireless light is solid blue.
If available, print a wireless or configuration report to confirm an IP address is assigned.

Remove old printer entries before re-adding
In System Settings > Printers & Scanners, remove any remaining LaserJet M110w entries.
Restart the Mac before adding the printer again.

I hope this helps.
