Obviously, I have connectivity issues I have restarted my laptop, my phone, my printer several times I have tried troubleshooting from the printer from the laptop from my phone I cannot understand how to get this done. Any help is appreciated. Yes, my laptop on my phone or on the same Wi-Fi connection. Hi @Crystal146,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To troubleshoot the connectivity issues between your HP printer and the Wi-Fi network, here are some steps you can follow.

Ensure Printer is Within Range: Make sure your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router. If you have a large house, the signal might not reach effectively.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor: This is a free tool provided by HP to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. It can troubleshoot issues related to connectivity and guide you through solutions. You can download and run this utility from HP's official website.

Check Printer Connection Settings:

  • Access the printer's control panel and navigate to the Wireless or Network Settings to initiate the Wi-Fi setup.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) from the list of available networks.
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted.

Restart Devices: Although you've already tried this, make sure you restart all related devices including your printer, router, and computer to refresh connections.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On your printer, access the settings menu and look for a network or wireless settings option.
  • Choose the option to reset network settings or restore network defaults. This may require you to set up the Wi-Fi connection again.

Update Printer Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up-to-date. Check HP's website for any available updates for your printer model.

Manually Assign Network Details:

  • Sometimes manual entry of the network details helps. You can enter your network SSID and password manually if automatic detection fails.

Check for Interference: Ensure there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices that might be interfering with the Wi-Fi signal.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
