Hi @Bj3055,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP LaserJet 2600 is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, the blinking blue light indicates issues with the wireless connection. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Make sure Wi-Fi is on:

  • Ensure that the wireless feature on your printer is turned on. If the blue light is blinking, it is searching for a network but isn't connected.

Restart Wireless Setup Mode:

  • On your printer's control panel, press and hold the "Wireless" button for about 5 seconds until the blue light starts blinking. This will restart the setup mode and make the printer discoverable to your devices.

Bring the Printer Closer:

  • Ensure your printer and router are within a close range and try again. Sometimes, being too far from the wireless router can cause connection issues.

Reconnect Using HP Smart App

  • On your phone or computer, open the HP Smart app.
  • Tap Add Printer → select your DeskJet 2600.
  • Enter your Wi‑Fi password carefully (case-sensitive).
  • The printer should connect to your router and the blue light should turn solid.

Reset Printer’s Network Settings

  • On the printer, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for about 5 seconds.
  • This clears old Wi‑Fi details and puts the printer into setup mode (blue light will blink).

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Make sure the printer's firmware is up to date, which can resolve connectivity issues. You can do this through the HP Support Assistant or the HP Smart App.

Disable VPN:

  • If your computer is connected to a VPN, disconnect from it during the setup process to ensure that your device can communicate with the printer.

Take care and have an amazing day!
