My HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-In-One Printer has been working for over a year (Wireless). Now it will not work, control panel says Cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolledin HP instant ink. I am enrolled in instant ink and have been. My only option is to choose "hide" which prompts me to print an alignment page (which I cannot do because I cannot use the printer) the screen is stuck on "printing alignment page". I have My printer is offline, so instant ink cannot communicate with it. I have unplugged it several more times but it seems to be locked. Therefore I am unable to re-set up the wifi.

Hi Kimrn,
Edit: Rereading your post, it's not clear if the problem is caused by the printer losing Wi-Fi connectivity or not. Does the printer seem to still be connected to your wireless network already? Is the blue Wi-Fi LED solid or blinking? If the printer is disconnected (blue Wi-Fi LED blinking), than please try the instructions below.
I have some steps that you could try. This should let you reconfigure your printer to connect to your wireless network. If that works, your Instant Ink account details should synchronize and hopefully get you unblocked.
1. Download and install HP Smart for Windows, (if not already installed). You can find it by going to https://123.hp.com if needed.
2. Plug the printer in (temporarily) to your Windows PC with a USB cable
3. Run HP Smart and look for the printer in the main window, like this:
If the printer is not listed in HP Smart, you may need to "Add Printer", you should see something like this:
4. Ensuring that your printer is listed in the top portion of the screen, now click the Printer Settings button
5. Now click Advanced Settings
6. You should see what is called the Embedded Web Server, go to Network -> Wireless -> Wireless Setup Wizard
This should allow you to get the printer connected back to your Wi-Fi network and clear the issue.
Let me know if this helps, if you are still stuck we can try some other approach.

Hi Kimrn,
Within HP Smart, did you have the printer connected via USB cable when you saw the printer still in the Offline state? You should be able to get it showing up as available once the USB cable is plugged in.
If it still shows offline, it might be showing up as a second printer in the carousel because it is now connected with USB, you can try clicking the left and right arrows to see if it is showing up as a second printer. If that doesn't work, try adding it again using the + button.
Hopefully one of these steps will get you to an online state where Printer Settings are available, so you can reach the Advanced Settings to reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings.

I uninstalled the HP smart app and reinstalled it. It let me add my printer and get into advanced settings. Under network it says:
wired - not connected although it is plugged into my computer via USB port
Wireless - not connected
wifi direct - status on
Bluetooth low energy - status on
