Hi @JPBon,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you want to disable MAC filtering on your HP Photosmart 6520 E-All-In-One Printer, you'll typically need to access the printer's web interface through a web browser. Follow these steps:

Connect to the Printer's Web Interface:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to your network.
  • Find the IP address of your printer. You can usually do this by printing a network configuration page from the printer itself.
  • Open a web browser on a device connected to the same network and enter the printer's IP address in the address bar.

Access the Printer's Settings:

  • Once you've entered the printer's IP address in the browser, you should see the printer's web interface.
  • Navigate through the settings menu until you find the option for "Security" or "Wireless Settings." The exact location may vary depending on the printer's firmware.

Disable MAC Filtering:

  • Look for an option related to MAC filtering or MAC address control.
  • There should be an option to either enable or disable MAC filtering. Select the option to disable it.
  • Save your changes if prompted.

Confirm Changes:

  • After disabling MAC filtering, it's a good idea to restart your printer to apply the changes fully.

Test Connectivity:

  • Once the changes are saved and the printer has restarted, try to connect a device to the printer over the network to confirm that MAC filtering has been disabled successfully.

Remember that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on the firmware version of your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
