Deskjet 2600 all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have upgraded to a faster router, but now I cannot connect my Deskjet 2600 printer either wireless or USB.  The wireless light on the printer is flashing, but no idea of what to do now.  I have been searching all night online for help, but can't get anywhere.  It keeps telling me to go to HP Smart, but that doesn't help either.

The printer will connect, but only when I disconnect my PC wireless.  As soon as I connect to the internet, the printer goes offline.

I would be very grateful if anyone has solved this problem and can help me please.

Apologies if this request is not correctly done, but I have never used this help before and know nothing about connecting printers.

Thank you

Dawn

Hello Betty

I finally got to your message.  Sorry but I had no notification of it until yesterday.  Any way thank you for trying to help me.  I followed your advise in the link, but that did not get me online.  I eventually contacted my provider (Sky) and they helped me.  It was all because my printer would not work on the higher GHz that I was now recieving, but sky somehow split the GHz and I now also have the lower GHz that will allow me to connect my printer,  It took me a long time to get it going even with the lower GHz, but it eventually worked.

I apologise if I have done this wrong, but its my first time here and I am grateful for the help that was offered.

Thank you

Dawn

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's restore the Printer's network settings for the connection issue:

Press and hold the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

Once done, try connecting the Printer to the Wi-fi.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
