Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer just went dead yesterday and it would not turn on.  I turned it off to reboot after I did a scan and now it would not turn back on.  Is this printer done?

Hi @bappyboy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I understand the printer is not turning on.

Try the below suggestions -

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Nothing worked, it must have truly been the internal power supply.  I bought a new one since I needed to upgrade.

you know there are a couple of known vulnerabilities for this HP model and many others which can be exploited to do harm. I'm thinking my neighbor is an a-hole there's been a dispute
