Hi @adhiyaman,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To delete the email address of a previous employee from your HP OfficeJet Pro 8023 printer, follow these steps.

Access the Printer’s Control Panel:

  • On the printer’s touchscreen, go to the Home screen.

Open the Email Settings:

  • Navigate to Setup (the gear icon).
  • Select Email Setup or Scan to Email settings.

Manage Email Accounts:

  • Look for an option like Manage Email Accounts or Email Accounts. This will show you the list of email addresses configured on the printer.

Select the Email to Delete:

  • Choose the email address you want to remove (the previous employee’s).

Delete the Email:

  • Follow the prompts to delete the email address. You may need to confirm the deletion.

Save Changes:

  • Ensure that you save any changes you made.

If You Can't Access the Email Settings:

Since you mentioned that the email account is no longer active, you might not receive a PIN or access code to verify changes. In that case, you may need to reset the printer settings:

Factory Reset (if necessary):

  • Go to Setup > Tools.
  • Look for Restore Factory Defaults and confirm the reset. Note that this will erase all custom settings, so you’ll need to reconfigure the printer afterward.

Reconfigure the Printer:

  • After the reset, set up the printer again and add a new email address as needed.

Note:

If you're unable to delete the email through the control panel or if the reset doesn't resolve the issue, consider:

  • Using HP Smart App: If you have the HP Smart app installed on your device, you can also manage printer settings, including email accounts, through the app.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
