I have a Desk Jet 2752e printer.  I changed our internet provider and I cannot get the printer to connect to the new internet service.  I have tried all of the suggestions within the HP support and everything requires that the printer is connected to the internet, but it won't connect.  I have no way to enter a password.  It does not have a touchscreen.

Hi @Ronda631,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

To connect your HP DeskJet 2752e printer to a new Wi-Fi network without a touchscreen, you can use the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) method or HP Smart app. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you.

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Connection

  • Check your router: Ensure your Wi-Fi router supports WPS. There should be a WPS button on the router.
  • Initiate WPS Mode on Printer:
  • Power on your printer.
  • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the Wireless light starts blinking.
  • Activate WPS on the Router:
  • Quickly press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router. The printer will attempt to connect to the wireless network.
  • Connection Confirmation:
  • Once connected, the Wireless light on the printer will stop blinking and remain solid.

Using HP Smart App

  • Download HP Smart.
  • Ensure you have the HP Smart app installed on your computer or mobile device. It's available for both Android and iOS devices, as well as Windows and macOS computers.
  • Connect through HP Smart
  • Open the HP Smart app and choose the Set up a new printer option.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions. The app will guide you to connect the printer to the Wi-Fi network by entering your network credentials through the app.

Restart Devices:

  •  Sometimes, simply restarting your printer and router can resolve connection issues.

Network Name and Password

  • Double-check that you are attempting to connect to the correct Wi-Fi network and using the correct password.

Proximity:

  •  Ensure the printer is within range of the Wi-Fi router.

Reset Network Settings on Printer

  • If needed, you can reset your printer’s network settings by pressing both the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer simultaneously to restore factory defaults, and then try connecting again.

Take care and have an amazing day!
