Product: DeskJet 4100e
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I have a friend with a DeskJet 4100e that's about a year old. She just got a new laptop and it seemed to work just fine with the printer at first. But she keeps having problems with it going "offline" and she has to reboot both the printer AND the laptop to get it to connect again. I believe both devices (laptop & printer) are current with updates. She did not have this problem with her older laptop, which was Windows 10. Both devices are in the same room as the router. Also, there doesn't seem to be a problem with scanning; only printing.
Any ideas how to fix this? If any specific informaiton is needed, I will gladly supply it. Thank you in advance. 😊
