Hi @HeyThere333,
I'd like to help!
Try the below suggestions-
Check the network and printer connection status
If you are using a wireless router, check your router’s documentation or support website to make sure it meets the following requirements:
-
Check the router band: Many routers can operate in both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz frequency bands, but not all HP printers support both bands. Make sure the 2.4 GHz router band is enabled and broadcasting. If the router broadcasts separate network names (SSIDs) for each band, connect the printer to the 2.4 GHz band SSID. If the printer supports 5.0 GHz, connect it to the 5.0 GHz band SSID.
-
Make sure your printer is not connected to a guest or host network, such as those networks found in schools, hotels, or home networks that allow guest logins. For more information see Can't Print on a Guest or Host Network.
-
Confirm the printer is connected to the network.
-
Wireless network connection: On the printer, open the Wireless Network or Settings menu to verify the wireless feature is turned on, and then make sure the Wireless icon
light is solid and blue.
If the wireless light is blue and blinks, move the computer and printer closer to the router, position the devices away from large metal objects such as bookcases, and move the printer away from devices that emit radio signals such as microwaves and cordless phones. Reconnect the printer to your network, and then make sure the wireless light is blue and solid. If your printer frequently drops the wireless connection, go to Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection for detailed troubleshooting steps.
-
Restart the computer, printer, and router
To resolve many connectivity issues, restart the computer, printer, and router.
NOTE:The following steps temporarily disconnect network and Internet connections, and require restarting your computer. Complete any tasks or downloads in progress before you continue.
-
Turn off the router by pressing the power button or disconnecting the power cord.
-
Turn off the printer.
-
Close all running programs on your computer, and then shut down the computer.
-
Press the power button or reconnect the power cord to the router, and then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
-
Turn on the printer.
-
Turn on the computer.
-
Try to turn on Web Services.
If the issue persists, continue to the next step.
To set a manual IP and try the steps below -
--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address
--->Open a web browser (ex Chrome or Mozilla) and type in the printer's IP
--->then go to network ---> general ---> network protocols ---> select IPV4 only-->apply
--->go to wireless ---> wireless 802.11---> select manual ip ---> apply
--->Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
--->then go to settings on the main ews page --> power management ---> select sleep mode to max 15min
Let's disable webservices and re-enable it
--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address
--->Open a web browser (ex Chrome or Mozilla) and type in the printer's IP
---> click on webservices and remove webservices and re-enable it
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Wow these are really complicated directions for a standard Basic user. I don’t have my printer set up with a computer just through a WiFi connection. It has always worked that we could print through our phones or iPads or computer through the WiFi connection if we were all on the same network. I have done everything possible. Unplugged router and printer. Reset to factory WiFi settings. Pressed wps button on router. On my phone the printer shows up to connect in setting/WiFi but then won’t connect. Our internet connection is great and never had an issue with bandwidth.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
