Hi @jerryZ11,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP DeskJet 4100e series printer is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi after changing the ink cartridge, here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer and Router:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug the router. Wait for about 30 seconds and then turn them back on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Check Wi-Fi Settings:

  • Ensure that the Wi-Fi on the printer is enabled. You can do this by checking the printer's display for the Wi-Fi icon and ensuring it is active.

Reconnect the Printer to Your Wi-Fi Network:

  • Using the Control Panel:
    • From the control panel, tap the Wireless icon, which typically looks like a radio antenna.
    • Go to Settings and select Wireless Setup Wizard.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to select your network from the list and enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted.

Check for Network Name (SSID) and Password:

  • Confirm that you are using the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. Ensure there are no typos, especially in case-sensitive passwords.

Take care and have an amazing day!
