Hi @gvani

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I hear you—it’s frustrating when a printer refuses to come online despite repeated restarts and cable checks. Before we jump into solutions, it’s important to narrow down what’s happening so we don’t waste time on the wrong path.

Could you share a bit more detail about your setup? For example:

  • Which HP printer model are you using?
  • Is it connected by Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, or USB?
  • When you say “offline,” do you see an error message in Windows or on the printer’s display?
  • Have you recently changed anything in your network (router, password, ISP settings)?
  • Does the printer respond normally when powered on—lights, display, or test page?

With those details, we can isolate whether this is a connection issue, a driver/software problem, or something at the printer itself.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
