I replaced my xFinity Router. Connected all streaming devices, TV's, iPhones, Tablet with no problem. Unfortunately my two HP printers could not connect to home network they worked without problem for previous xFinith routers so I called Infinity and they did a router check and confirmed NO FILTERS. Ran diagnostics on both printers, and confirmed printer settings consistent with wireless router settings were good. BUT... diagnostics test for No Filters Failed for both.

Hi @Sailor615,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
What device are you using the printer with a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or iPhone?
I understand you're unable to connect the Officejet 8600 over a wireless connection. I will do my best to assist you! I would recommend power cycling the router, printer, and computer:
1) Turn off your printer
2) Disconnect the power cord from the back of the router
3) Restart your computer
4) Wait less than 60 seconds, plug the power cord back into the router
5) Turn your printer back on, and wait for the computer to turn on
Is the wireless light blinking on your printer? If so, please reconnect the wireless on your printer by using the wireless setup wizard:
- On the printer touch screen, touch the Right Arrow (
) to display the second navigation screen.
- Touch the Setup icon (
).
- Touch Network , touch Wireless Setup Wizard , and then touch Continue . The printer searches for available networks.
- Touch the name of your network, and then touch OK .
- If prompted, enter the network password, and then touch OK . The printer connects to the network.
You may refer to this document for further assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you for your support, but unfortunately it did not fix the problem as it did not connect to my home network through the replaced router. Here is the sequence of events;
1. Replaced my xFinity router with an upgrade to their latest model.
2. Connected all my streaming devices (TV's), two Dell computers, two iPhones and an Android Tablet to the internet with no problems.
3. When I went to connect my two HP Printers, an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and a HP Envy Photo 7855, they would not connect when I used the Wireless set-up wizard. It recognized the Home Network but when I entered the password for the network, it churned and failed to connect. When I printed out the diagnostics for both printer failures, it confirmed wireless set-up settings correct , but indicated FAIL for the No Filters. I had xFinity check the router settings and they confirmed that there were no filters/restrictions on the new router.
The problem is that both printers worked on the previous xFinity router, and both have a simultaneous failure on this new one even though all other devices connected without difficulty.
I would appreciate any additional insights you may have to fix this problem.
