I am unable to connect to iPhone or iPad I have done the following numerous times

  1. On the printer, reset the Wi-Fi settings:
    • Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons together until the Power light blinks.
    • This puts the printer into Wi-Fi setup mode.
  2. Use the HP Smart app on your phone or PC to reconnect the printer to the 2.4 GHz network.

@Hal6699, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP DeskJet 3755 Printer Connection to iPhone or iPad!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like you're experiencing difficulties connecting your HP DeskJet 3755 printer with your iPhone or iPad. Below are some troubleshooting steps that might help resolve the issue:

Ensure Both Devices are on the Same Network:

  • Make sure your printer and your Apple device (iPhone or iPad) are connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Note that this model supports only 2.4 GHz networks, and changing from a 5 GHz network might be necessary.

Reset the Printer's Wi-Fi Settings:

  • You already mentioned you've done this, but ensure you've held the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons long enough until the Power light blinks to enter Wi-Fi setup mode.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Confirm you have the latest version of the HP Smart App installed on your iPhone or iPad. You can download it from the App Store.
  • Open the app, select "Add Printer," and follow the prompts. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, as the app uses it to locate the printer.

Check Printer Proximity:

  • Make sure the printer is within 8 meters (26 feet) of your Wi-Fi router for a better connection.

Utilize Wi-Fi Direct:

  • If Wi-Fi connectivity is still an issue, consider using Wi-Fi Direct, which allows direct printing from your device without a network:
    • On the printer control panel, press the Information button to print a report that contains the Wi-Fi Direct name and password.
    • Connect your iPhone or iPad to this Wi-Fi Direct network from the Wi-Fi menu on your device, using the details from the report.

Restart Router and Printer:

  • Sometimes, restarting both your Wi-Fi router and printer can resolve connectivity issues.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
