Product: HP OfficeJet 5740 e-All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP 5740 recently went "offline."  In the past, the Print and Scan Doctor has fixed the problem.  Not this time.  I downloaded HP Support Assistant 9 and asked it to "diagnose and fix."  It solved the problem.  I had not used the Assistant before.  I like it.  Does it replace the need for the Print and Scan Doctor?
