Hi @Gert20,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP ENVY Photo 7855 is not printing. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Check the printer power and status
Make sure the printer is turned on and shows no error messages on the display.
If the screen is blank or frozen, restart the printer.

Verify paper and ink
Check that paper is loaded correctly in the tray.
Confirm that all ink cartridges are installed properly and not empty.

Restart the printer and power source
Turn the printer on and unplug the power cord from the rear and the wall.
Wait 60 seconds, reconnect the cord directly to a wall outlet, and turn the printer back on.

Check printer online status on the device
On your computer, open Devices and Printers.
Right-click the HP ENVY Photo 7855 and make sure “Use Printer Offline” is unchecked.

Set the printer as default
In Devices and Printers, right-click the printer and select Set as default printer.
This ensures print jobs are sent to the correct device.

Clear the print queue
Open the printer queue and cancel all pending print jobs.
Restart the computer to prevent stuck jobs from resending.

Confirm the connection type
If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer and device are on the same network.
If using USB, try a different USB port or cable.

Print a test page
From printer properties, select Print Test Page.
If the test page prints, the issue is likely application-specific.

I hope this helps.
