DskJet 2800e will NOT connect to the internet

I tried helping a friend install an HP DeskJet 2800e.  I tried every way suggested and it still will not connect.  No problem with the router.  Used the IP address method, phone method, bluetooth on, and it will NOT connect.  This is the most frustrating way to get the driver downloaded to the computer.  HP, you need to work on these convoluted product connections that most people can't follow.  I've hooked up all kinds of computers and printers and this is never going to work out for the average person that is trying to work with an entry level $50 printer.  Folks that buy this cheap printer do not know much about computers and software and wifi connections! Most people can't  find their IP address, have to uninstall software from their computer because there might be a glitch. An apology / recall is in order.  This was a QVC package deal that cost $399.00.  You can buy the same from Best Buy for $250. and at least have a place to go for a fix with the Geek Squad.

Suggest to try to reset wireless to defaults and then use the HP app to setup and connect printer to the netowrk.
