Common problems for Connectivity Issues

When trying to connect to the internet my wireless printer says invalid password which it is not invalid.  I am using the Wireless Wizard setup on the printer.

@Debbie5254, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Check if you are able to connect other devices to the wireless network using the same wireless password.

Make sure you are connecting the printer to your home wireless network.

Check the SSID on the printer screen. The password is case sensitive.

 

You may use a USB cable to connect the printer to the MAC and update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network (2.4Ghz network)
