HP ENVY 4520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my HP Envy4520 is randomly printing "HP Network configuration pages"

sometimes middle of the night, sometimes during the day. This is a total drain and waste of ink and paper.

We dont have any cats/pets that could accidentilly touch the screen.

I already reset to factory default, and ran the "Print & Scan Doctor" (which is useless software and yielded no result).

how to turn this off?

Welcome to the HP suport community.

I understand that your printer is printing the network configuration pages randomly, I am glad to assist you.

Follow these steps to fix the issue.

Perform a power reset to do a hard reset on the printer

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the firmware to install the latest updates on the printer

Here are the steps to update firmware:- click here

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
