ENVY 6200
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I started getting an error when trying to print so I decided to remove the printer and add it again. Now it can not find it any more. When I print the networkconfig via the printer and use that IP address in my browser I can still see the HP's config site. However, my PC just won't find it in the "Add printer & Scanner" section. Please help.

edit: Problem was an update to windows. Found a solution. see below.

After a lot of searching I came across a solution:

The printer was indeed connected to the WiFi and had an IP address, which is found on the printed network config.

In "Printers & Scanners" click "Add Printer & Scanner" wait until it says "The printer I want isn't listed"

Select "Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname and use the IP address from your printer and give it a name.

Now also make sure webservices on your printer are enabled.

Et voilà you should be golden.

After updating my Laptop's Windows 10, it too no longer shows up when I search for the printer!
