Hi I changed my ISP and router now my printer is not connecting to new wifi router. I use HP Smart app as well as Convert USB to Wireless option on PC software. The smart app asks for “Printer Password” which I assume is also the same for EWS. On EWS many options require Admin password. I don’t recall putting a password but if I did I have forgotten it. I tried resetting pressing wifi and X button for 3 sec. This fix didn’t work

I'd like to help!

 

I understand the printer is locked with an adminstrator password.

 

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
