HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3635 All-in-One Printer

I have forgotten my EWS login details and I would like to switch my USB connection to the printer to WiFi but the HP Smart App keeps prompting me for the EWS password. Can anyone send me the instructions to reset my HP DeskJet 3635 AIO Printer so I can log in to the EWS server and complete the printer wireless setup?

Hi @jcwee,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset the EWS (Embedded Web Server) password for your HP DeskJet 3635 All-in-One Printer, you can follow these steps.

  • Ensure that your printer is turned on and connected to your computer or network.
  • Open a web browser on your computer and enter the IP address of your printer in the address bar. The IP address can usually be found on the printer's control panel or by printing a network configuration page.
  • Press Enter or Return to access the printer's EWS.
  • In the EWS login page, click on the "Forgot Password" or "Reset Password" option. The exact wording may vary depending on the printer's firmware.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the EWS password. This may involve answering security questions or entering a security code sent to your email address.
  • Once the password reset process is complete, you should be able to log in to the EWS using the new password.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
