Hi @Athensw,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the Embedded Web Server (EWS) password on your HP printer and it's preventing network connection, here's how you can reset it.

Access the HP EWS:

  • Use a web browser and type your printer's IP address to open the EWS page. If the IP address is unknown, it can usually be found on the network configuration page printed from the printer's control panel.

Enter the Correct Password:

  • If you've forgotten the password, you may need to reset it through the printer's settings or contact your IT administrator if enterprise managed.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to settings and select "Restore Network Defaults." This will reset the network configurations and potentially the EWS password depending on the model.

Finding Default Password:

  • If applicable, check the printer's manual or the HP support website for default password settings that might be restored when resetting network settings.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
