Out of nowhere I received a print file stating "Congratulations! Your printer is now web-connected and has its own email address. Email files to your printer to print from anywhere at anytime" It also gave me a printers email address. I did not request this information. Why did I receive this note, also they gave me a claim code. Due to all of the Fraud going on, I have not/did not include the email address or printers claim code. I have tried to call HP to speak to someone and they keep sending me to virtual help.. No action. No I have you please help. 1MrsJones

Hi,
You may disable Web Services from the printer menu, it is probably due to incorrectly enabling web services during the software installation for example.
Simply disable Web Services from the printer menu and it will be disabled back:

Shlomil,
Thank you for your response, I'm sorry for the delay in responding. I will review and disable web service as suggested. However, will this hinder me from printing from my computers using wi-fi? I am computer stupid.....What does it mean to disable web service? I want to make sure I can print from my desktop, notebook & laptop when I'm working etc... using wifi. Thank you
