Hi @Stewart4219,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

For updating your network (broadband) password, you need to access your router’s settings. Here's a general guide on how to do it:

Connect to Your Network: Ensure that your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) is connected to the network whose password you wish to change.

Access the Router’s Settings:

  • Open a web browser on your connected device.
  • Enter the router’s IP address in the address bar. Common addresses are usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. Check your router's label or manual if unsure.

Log in to the Router:

  • You will be prompted for a username and password. This is typically found on the router's label or manual, or it could be default settings like "admin" for both fields unless changed by you or your ISP.

Find the Wireless Settings:

  • Once logged in, navigate to the wireless settings section. This could be labeled as "Wireless," "Wi-Fi," or "Network."

Change the Password:

  • Look for the "Wi-Fi Password" or "Network Security Key" field.
  • Enter your new password. Ensure it's strong, combining letters, numbers, and symbols.

Save Changes:

  • Save or apply the changes, and your router may restart to apply the new settings.

Reconnect Your Devices:

  • After the password is changed, all devices will be disconnected. Reconnect using the new Wi-Fi password.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
