When I go to print with either my iPhone, or my MacBook, it goes through all of the motions, as if it is going to print, but the printer remains inactive. 

my phone and computer find the printer, I get the preferences menu and the preview, I press print, it seems to send, but not the printer doesn’t respond.

 

I printed out the printer status report and it says everything is fine and that it’s connected to the network. I have turned off the printer and turned it back on, unplugged it re-plugged it in, unplugged it, and re-plugged in the router, etc. I don’t know what more to do.
