@AFroling, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
I understand your HP ENVY 6055e printer is no longer reconnecting to Wi-Fi after working fine for months. Let’s walk through some steps to get it back online.
Restart All Devices
Power cycling can often resolve temporary glitches:
- Turn off your printer, computer, and router.
- Unplug the printer and router from power for 60 seconds.
- Plug them back in and power everything on.
- Ensure your computer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
Check Printer’s Wireless Status
- Look at the Wireless light on the printer:
- Solid blue = connected
- Blinking/off = not connected
If it's not connected, proceed to the next step.
Restore Network Settings on the Printer
- On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for 5 seconds.
- This will restore the printer’s network settings and put it into Wi-Fi setup mode (light should blink blue).
Reconnect Using HP Smart App
- Download or open the HP Smart app on your Windows 11 PC or mobile device.
- Tap “+” to add a new printer.
- Follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Make sure your device is on the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to connect to.
Run Wireless Network Test
You can print a wireless test report:
- Press and hold the Information button (i) until all buttons light up.
- Then press the Information + Resume buttons together.
This report can help identify signal or configuration issues.
