Product: HP Envy Photo 7275 All-in-One Printer

I purchased an Envy Photo 7275 on Aug 4, 2026 from Amazon.  It has been installed and prints periodically.  When I launch the HP app, it recognized the printer but has a button to "connect this printer to use all features".  When I do I am prompted to "add a printer".  When I search by serial number (TH5AIBX0CR), it tells me that my printer warranty is expired with a start day of April 09, 2026 and an end date of April 09, 2026.

I notified a moderator of the warranty problem.

If you did not register your product with HP when you bought it then the warranty you are seeing is based on date of manufacture, not date of purchase. You can update the warranty status by contacting HP and providing a proof of purchase. You may need a screenshot of the receipt.
Depending on the laws at your location, the warranty may start on the day it was delivered.
