Hi @gothos,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out. I understand that after a recent Microsoft Windows update, your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e is no longer able to print or connect to your computer, even though the printer itself shows that it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

Since the printer remains connected to Wi-Fi, the Windows update may have affected the printer's connection, driver, or print queue on the computer.

Please try the following:

1. Remove and re-add the printer

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e and choose Remove.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Return to Printers & scanners and select Add device to add the printer again.

2. Check the print queue

Open the printer's print queue and remove any stuck print jobs. Make sure Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline is not enabled.

3. Re-add the printer through the HP app

Open the HP app on your computer and check whether the printer is detected.

If necessary, remove the printer from the app and add it again.

4. Check Windows Update

Go to Settings > Windows Update > Update history and check whether a printer or driver update was recently installed. Also check for any additional Windows updates that may be available, install them, and restart the computer.

If the issue continues, please let us know whether the printer appears as offline or unavailable or is completely missing from Windows and whether you receive a specific error message when you try to print. This will help us determine the appropriate next step.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,
