trying to setup my existing HP 2755e Desk Jet printer on a new WIFI Network.  Downloaded the HP driver S/W to my Dell Inspiron 15 3510 with Windows 11 64-bit operating system.  Followed the setup procedures in the HP installation procedures and still cannot connect the WIFI printer to my ATT DSL router.  I have an IP Scanner that shows all IP addresses on my home WIFI, but the HP printer connection app cannot see the  HP 2755e in WIFI setup mode.  Need help.

@GDEAMICIS, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Wireless Connection with HP DeskJet 2755e Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you are having trouble setting up your HP DeskJet 2755e printer on a new Wi-Fi network, here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Verify Wireless Setup on the Printer:

  • Make sure the wireless light on the printer is on. If not, turn it on by pressing the Wireless button or accessing the settings on the printer’s control panel.

Check Network Configuration:

  • Ensure that your Dell Inspiron 15 3510 and the printer are on the same Wi-Fi network. If there's a mismatch, you won't be able to establish a connection.

Reset Wireless Settings:

  • Restore default wireless settings: Press and hold the Power button on the printer, then press the Start Copy Black button twice, and the Cancel button three times. Release the Power button, and ensure that the wireless light is blinking.

Reinstall HP Software:

  • If you've already installed the driver software, try reinstalling it. Ensure you use the full feature print driver from 123.hp.com.

Manual IP Setup:

  • Obtain the IP address of the printer by printing a Network Configuration Page. Once you have the IP address, try accessing the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) by typing the IP address into a web browser.

Check Firewall Settings:

  • Temporarily disable any firewall or security software on your Dell Inspiron to ensure it is not blocking the connection between the printer and the PC.

Router Configuration:

  • Ensure your router does not have MAC address filtering enabled, which could be preventing the printer from connecting.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
