Factory reset for laser printer 150nw
I've reviewed several forums, including HP's and it seems that all the suggestions to factory reset HP Laserjet 150nw does not work. I have tried all the options, in multiple combination with no luck.
Why is it so hard to factory reset a HP LaserJet 15nw Printer , as it seems HP have no idea also.
Is someone able to assist, PLEASE!

Hi @Fanosc,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Performing a factory reset on an HP LaserJet printer can vary slightly depending on the specific model. Since you mentioned the HP LaserJet 150nw, I'll provide you with a general procedure that should work for most HP LaserJet printers. However, please note that factory reset procedures can vary, so it's always a good idea to consult your printer's manual or HP's official support resources for the most accurate instructions.
Here's how you might perform a factory reset on the HP LaserJet 150nw:
- Turn Off the Printer: Make sure the printer is turned off and unplugged from any power source.
- Press and Hold Buttons: On the printer's control panel, locate the "Cancel" button and the "Wireless" button. Press and hold both of these buttons simultaneously.
- Power On the Printer: While still holding down the "Cancel" and "Wireless" buttons, plug the printer back into a power source or turn it on using the power button. Continue holding the buttons.
- Release the Buttons: After a few seconds, you should see the printer's control panel lights start to blink. Once this happens, release the "Cancel" and "Wireless" buttons.
- Restore Defaults: The printer will now start the reset process. It might take a few minutes. Eventually, the printer should return to its factory default settings.
- Reconfigure: Once the reset is complete, you'll need to reconfigure the printer's settings, including connecting it to your network if necessary.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
