Hi @weldesm19832004,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Resetting the password on your HP DeskJet 4155e printer can be necessary if you've forgotten the admin password used to access settings on the printer's embedded web server. Here’s how you can reset it:

Steps to Reset the Password on an HP DeskJet 4155e:

Turn Off the Printer: Start by turning off the printer.

Restore Network Settings: With the printer off, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously. While holding these buttons, turn the printer back on. Continue holding the buttons for about 3 seconds or until the printer's wireless light blinks.

Release the Buttons: After the wireless light blinks, release the buttons. This action restores the network settings to factory defaults.

Reconnect the Printer: Since the network settings are reset, you’ll need to reconnect the printer to your network. Use the HP Smart app or the printer’s built-in Wireless Setup Wizard to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS): Once reconnected, you can access the printer's embedded web server by typing the printer’s IP address into a web browser. The IP address can be obtained by printing out the network configuration page or looking at the printer’s display if it has one.

Set Up a New Password: In the EWS, navigate to the security settings to set up a new password.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
