Product: OfficeJet Pro 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I tried the solution suggested by Jeet_Singh posted 10/20/17 and got the same result as the requesting user.  Tried various other access methods, but always came back to the same username/password pop-up.  Also was searching my HD to find the location for where FAX images are stored.

  • What seems to be the exact issue with your HP Product today? 
  • Could you share the screen where it's asking for the password?
