Forgot the new admin password on my 6970

I have a HP Officejet Pro 6978 all-in-one, product number T0F29A I set up a admin password it did not ask for a username what is requesting a username when I try to use the password and I can't get in can I reset my admin password anyone know how please help

I understand you are not able to make changes to the settings on the printer. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
